Thanks to over a decade of experience in working for the media industry and OTT platforms, we had the honour to work for one of the biggest worldwide brands to develop one of the most advanced prototype systems to ensure media quality delivery to Disney studios.
Thanos is a near real-time platform to analyze media content information directly on the client machine before the upload of the content itself. The media information is attached to the uploaded file and compared to Disney's internal media management system to ensure the expected video quality. AI is used to analyze video streaming to check in-depth video and content quality in order to have a first verification of the number of black frames and that the content is appropriate (no nudity scenes or alcohol advertisements, for example).
After a first automated check, the media assets status is changed from "in Review" to "Passed" or "Not Passed". Then a report on the analysis is created and a final human approval is requested by the Quality Assurance admin.
The Architecture design is entirely serverless and fully deployed in Amazon Cloud ensuring the maximum availability, scalability, and cost-saving solution.
The solution features a powerful search engine based on natural text search to retrieve the assets.
